Spring photography on the Dutch coast and a little life update
Over the past few weeks, it’s been fairly quiet here on the blog. Since past months were pretty intense, and work on my 100 days photo challenge drained me a bit, I just needed to rest, get some fresh air, and do something different to avoid burning out.
I’ve also been working quite intensively behind the scenes. Since I’ve started taking the blog seriously and thinking about it long-term, it was finally time to take SEO seriously as well.
In the meantime, I’ve also started some collaborations and I’m working on initiatives that I hope I’ll be able to share more about soon.
That absolutely doesn’t mean my camera has been sitting untouched.
It’s been a joyful period of those first signs of spring, chasing spring sunlight and colours. So welcome after long months of grey in The Netherlands.
I’ve been going to the beach more and more often.
It’s my favorite time of year, when life slowly returns to the coast - along with it, huts, beach hubs, surf clubs - my favorite subjects.
And yet without the summer crowds.
These are the months when, photography wise, I enjoy myself the most.
Below a little selection of shots from Ijmuiden, Katwijk, Noordwijk, Hoek van Holland and ‘s Gravenzande.
New writings are on the way. Stay tuned!
