Your guide to minimalist photos

In life, I’m a minimalist. I surround myself with carefully chosen items, I don’t like having too much, and I really like order.

However, when I started taking photos, I fell into the trap of trying to fit everything possible into my frames.

It quickly turned out that this is not the best way to tell a story through photography.
It is one of the most common mistakes made by beginner and intermediate photographers.

The ability of choosing and composing the subject in an appealing way is a very important skill in storytelling.

If you also feel like your photos look like a messy room, where everything is there, but nothing can be found - this is something for you.

I created a guide (which actually looks more like a mini-course), that covers topics like subject, composition, colour and negative space in photography.

It’s totally free and I’m sure it will help you simplify your photos and make them stand out more.

What other photographers say about the guide

It’s a great tool! It's clear and easy to follow. Tips are excellent, even though I’ve heard some of them before - since they’re all together, in a nutshell, they will help me even just to calm down my photos a bit. I liked it so much that I’m planning to try taking purely minimalist-style photos! Summing up: 10/10!
