Photography in Mallorca in low season vol. 3

It was my third trip to Mallorca, and my partner’s first.

The plan was to show them, over the course of three days, the most interesting places: the MA-10 and the villages hidden in the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana on the western side of the island, the charming roads leading to Sa Calobra and Cap de Formentor, the lovely harbor and beach villages on the eastern coast - especially my favorite, Cala Figuera, as well as Mondragó Park and Santanyí.

I also managed to see something new myself: the salt flats of Salinas de Es Trenc.
I didn’t expect it to be such an interesting experience (and an absolutely satisfying place from a photography point of view).

Off-season Mallorca welcomed me with open arms (and wide-open spaces).
Photographically, those four days were spent in awe. Deserted resorts, tourist spots shut down completely, from shops and restaurants, to empty beaches and roads.
